Team Wave Sport member Tanya Faux has taken the coveted Adventurer of the Year for 2008 from Outer Edge Magazine, Australia’s leading adventure and outdoor title.

Tanya Faux, an intrepid whitewater kayaker and Australian freestyle paddling World Champion who led two first descents down the Mitchell and Moran Rivers in a remote part of Western Australia’s Kimberley region.
