This lightweight variant of the Ethos combines the same exceptional COREtour outfitting found in our performance touring kayaks, making it an ideal choice for paddlers to develop fundamental paddling techniques. It retains the benefits of the Ethos hull, including a smooth, efficient rocker profile and progressive chines, while offering enhanced touring advantages for those who prioritise comfort and ease on the water. Perfect for paddling up to class 2 waters, this model ensures a stable, controlled experience, with ample cockpit space and gear storage for longer outings or multi-day trips.
STABLE AND FORGIVING
The Ethos is a stable, forgiving, performance-minded crossover platform that also offers a confidence-building introduction to paddling techniques. The hull is manoeuvrable in moving water, yet tracks well on the flat with the help of a drop down skeg system. Offering outstanding comfort on long, multi-day river treks due to the roomy cockpit, sizeable gear-storage space and our signature white outfitting.

Drop the skeg
Skeg up! Skeg down! Change your mind as often as the water dictates - The easy to reach cleat allows you to drop the spring loaded skeg and up the tracking performance of the Ethos kayak. Pull on the control cord once more and the whitewater inspired hull delivers the maneuverability and responsiveness needed to tackle some easy rapids or catch a wave!
LOAD UP
For longer trips on the river, load up the spacious rear hatch with all the gear you need. It could be a night away under the stars or an indulgent picnic... the space is yours, so pack what you like!
Paddler Size Options
The Ethos Ten and Ethos Nine are a pair of performance crossover kayaks with a hull rocker that increases manoeuvrability making them especially suited for a mix of moving and flat water. Their stable and forgiving nature ensures paddlers looking for easy access to adventures or just escaping to the water are equally covered.
At only a slightly increased length, the Ethos Ten punches the same impressive combination of manoeuvrability, acceleration, speed, and handling that the Ethos Nine displays. However, the notable difference in the Ethos Ten version is with the cockpit area and an increased height around the knees - this gives better contact and control for the medium to large sized paddler.
